Potatoes is one of the most demanded vegetables from Egypt, either Spunta which is a medium early variety that provides a good yield and is heat and drought resistant and therefore very suitable for cultivation in Egypt. Or other varieties such as Lady Rosetta which is a moderately early, productive crisping variety.
The Potatoes season lasts from early February through the end of July.
